Every Woman's Marathon SoleMates

Recently, our SoleMates team traveled from Seattle to Savannah, GA to take on the Every Woman's Marathon. They turned the 26.2 miles into more than a personal goal by raising funds for GOTRSnoCo as a SoleMates team. Audrey (our Communications Director) and GOTR coaches Aailiyah and Kat shared their journey along the way.

Two Local Volunteers Honored with National Award

Long-time Girls on the Run of Snohomish County (GOTRSnoCo) volunteers, Kathleen Quirk and Karyn Roseburg have each been recognized by Girls on the Run International with their Remarkable Volunteer Award, a national volunteer recognition program that acknowledges the inspirational impact volunteers have on their community. Quirk and Roseburg were amongst the small group of individuals selected from Girls on the Run councils across the country.

Local GOTR Volunteers Honored with National Award

Long-time Girls on the Run of Snohomish County (GOTRSnoCo) volunteer coaches at Quil Ceda Tulalip Elementary School have been recognized by Girls on the Run International with their Remarkable Volunteer Award, a national volunteer recognition program that acknowledges the inspirational impact volunteers have on their community. Heather Ferrel, Maureen Mejia, Langlie Morgan, Nikki Porter and Manetta Pfrimmer were amongst the small group of individuals selected from Girls on the Run councils across the country. Four of the volunteers were presented with the award at a recent school assembly which included an honor song performed by students.
